I went ahead and ordered the Dolphin 80A charger from Tritex, along with a 15A Xantrex echo~charge.  That’s enough shopping for a while, I think, aside from a few other components for a rewiring of the core electrical system — mainly new breaker panels.

The next big task is just to get it all planned and then probably find and schedule a marine electrician to come do it all for a reasonable price.

I passed on a 12k BTU self-contained air conditioner, although the sales guy reduced the price to around US$2500 for a complete kit including seawater pump and through hulls, which is pretty decent.  I can’t install it without doing a haulout anyway, and I’d like to focus on the electrical stuff first.  I may revisit it in 4-6 months, we’ll see.
