A really huge sailboat appeared a couple days ago at One 15 Marina before sailing off again this morning. It’s Pangaea, an expeditionary vessel custom built for a South African explorer/activist named Mike Horn, who, among other things, has circumnavigated both the equator and the Arctic circle without any motorized transport.  It’s a huge vessel, 115 feet, made of aluminum and kind of rough-and-tumble looking, but quite a sight.  Luckily I snapped a few photos before it left the marina.
